Choose the airport around your destination

Van Nuys is a general aviation airport in the San Fernando Valley, owned and operated by Los Angeles World Airports. It is an option to assess for private travel into the region. Its location is relevant to a Valley itinerary; other destinations across Los Angeles may call for a different airport discussion.

Share a neighborhood or street address rather than simply “Los Angeles.” A studio schedule, a Westside stay and an Orange County appointment are different ground-transfer problems. Discuss the complete day, including any return departure, before settling on an airport.

Three ways to frame the journey

A production or business schedule

Share the location and hard arrival deadline. Equipment, extra baggage and changing wrap times should be part of the initial brief.

A transcontinental flight

Compare cabin layout, baggage accommodation and the proposed fuel-stop plan. Category labels alone do not establish nonstop capability on the day.

A regional West Coast trip

A shorter journey may allow a wider category comparison, but aircraft positioning and airport suitability still shape the final proposal.

Allow room for the operating details

Los Angeles travel planning should consider ground traffic as well as the flight. Ask the operating team to confirm airport suitability, current restrictions and aircraft performance for the proposed schedule. Avoid relying on a fixed transfer-time promise when connecting to an event or another departure.

Aircraft examples and online category estimates are planning references. The actual aircraft, operating carrier, availability and commercial terms must be confirmed for your journey. For U.S. charter, ask who will operate the flight and confirm the appropriate authorization.

Build a useful flight brief

  • Preferred departure airport and final destination address.
  • Travel dates, local departure times and any flexibility.
  • Passenger count, bags and special cabin requirements.
  • Every additional stop and the intended return schedule.
  • Any fixed event or meeting time and ground transport needs.

Plan an arrival into Los Angeles, or plan a departure. You can change the suggested airport before searching.

Questions, considered.

Does Soravia have aircraft permanently based at Van Nuys?

This page does not represent a based fleet or a local office. Submit the trip to have the team assess the aircraft and operating options available for your dates.

Can I see a price before submitting an inquiry?

Yes. The planner provides indicative category estimates for supported airports and mission assumptions. It does not confirm inventory or a contractual price; select a category to request a tailored proposal.

Compare aircraft categories, read the charter cost guide or explore other U.S. markets.
